Urologic cancers
Cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney and testicle are among the most common cancers in adults, and most are highly treatable when found early. Dr. Sosenko evaluates the findings that raise concern — an elevated PSA, blood in the urine, a mass on imaging, or a testicular lump — and manages treatment or coordinates it with regional cancer centers when advanced therapy is needed.
What we do
- Prostate cancer — PSA evaluation, MRI-targeted biopsy, active surveillance, and coordination of surgery or radiation
- Bladder cancer — office cystoscopy, transurethral resection of bladder tumors (TURBT), intravesical therapy, and surveillance cystoscopy
- Kidney cancer — imaging work-up of kidney masses, surveillance of small tumors, and surgical management
- Testicular cancer — prompt ultrasound evaluation and surgical management, with referral for oncology care as needed
